Our ability to adapt plays a big role in whether we are able to live a generally happy and stress-free life. I know that I'm certainly not the first one to figure it out, yet I feel each and every one of us needs to figure it out in their own way and time. For me it was my Qigong and Taiji practice that slowly brought about the realization.
My Qi Gong teacher once told me that in order for someone to recover fully from an illness or a chronic condition they needed to created a "burning desire" to get better. It is this strong desire or intention that is truly the driving force behind Qi gong or any form of self-healing.
