For twenty-five years, CEOs worldwide have been looking over the shoulder of the high level performance coachbecause of Dr. Keller’s proven track record in helping organizations and employees at companies such as American Express, Pizza Hut, and Indiana University Purdue University improve productivity, peer communication and profits.

Dr. Keller (or simply “Karen”, as her friends call her) came to be known as “The Influence Expert” after her uncanny insights to human behavior helped to affect state policy decision-making in the courtroom and seal multi-million dollar deals in the boardroom.

Raised on a farm in Northern Minnesota in a family with six siblings, Karen’s father called her a ‘natural influencer’ when she was fourteen. Despite a lack of cash and customers, Karen persuaded the local youth organization to open a summer tennis camp. The camp turned a profit for the next 10 years.

After earning undergraduate degrees in natural science, Latin and psychology from The University of North Dakota, Karen worked as a tennis instructor, chemist, and heart researcher before developing a musical studio called “Keller’s Kids” teaching piano instruction and music classes to ninety children.

She noticed her students weren’t only learning from her at an educational level. The relationship was much deeper and more heartfelt than that.

In Karen’s own words…
“It was there in a small town that I went in search of influence and discovered it was me.”

Karen responded to this calling for intimate connection by getting a Masters Degree from The University of North Dakota and then a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

One day in 1999, after working as a Rehabilitation Director and then opening a private practice, she read the book From Couch to Corporation. Within six weeks, Karen had transformed her clinical practice to a coaching practice, “The Executive Coach”. And later, received the industry’s highest level of coaching certification, “Master Certified Coach”.  To learn more go to http://www.karen-keller.com
