Is All Water Purification Equipment Created Equal?

Let's face it, we all know water is crucial to our well being and health. We've heard the statistic that approximately 70% of our body is made of water.

That's why one of the best health investments you'll ever make is purchasing water purification equipment. After all, you don't want the one substance that is most vital for your health to be impure and contaminated.

This is pretty common knowledge, right? Well, what isn't so commonly understood is the difference in quality when it comes to a household water filter. What's also unfortunate is that people have been brainwashed to believe that bottled water is a good source of water.

The bottled water industry is one of the biggest in the world, there's no denying that. Billions of dollars are spent every year on bottled water.

But did you know that there no guarantees bottled water is safer than plain ole' tap water? None. Zero. In fact, if you did some research and found out exactly where your favorite bottled water was sourced from, you'd be shocked.

I don't want to sound alarmist, but you can forget about the images of pristine mountain streams on the label of your favorite bottled water. That's called marketing hype. In reality, pesticides and herbicides are routinely found in both house tap water and bottled water.

Now, when it comes to water purification equipment, it's not all the same. Although you want your water to be clean, and impurities to be filtered out, your body needs the natural minerals found in water. Minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium, and many more.

Because of the water contamination scare, most household water filter products are reverse osmosis. But these are not ideal, even though they sell the best.

This is because reverse osmosis systems remove the bad stuff right along with the good stuff. People who drink this type of water over a long period can become mineral deficient, especially if they aren't using a high quality mineral supplement or getting enough minerals by eating an optimal diet.

Clean water is one of the best natural sources of important minerals. This fact led to my researching the market extensively and discovering there are some systems that use multi point filtration which traps the nasty toxins like chlorine, lead, parasites, etc., but allows natural minerals to make it through.

The result is "tasty" and healthy water, probably like the kind our ancestors drank long ago when polluted water concerns were non-existent.
