There is an automatic timer and shut-off feature, and also an LCD display. The machine can steam ice-cold milk perfectly and speedily. And needless to say, so much more.

And now for the "negatives". If you are going to invest in a top end machine, you should know what you are purchasing. First, bear in mind  that if you want your warranty to remain intact, you will have to use the Capresso cleaning tablets and water filters - not a generic (cheaper) brand name. You'll also end up having to buy superior quality (and thus more expensive) coffee beans, as the grinder requires "less oily" beans. Many people are not aware of this, and are surprised to find that the cheaper or "regular" coffee beans tend not to work as well in the grinder. You also should be aware of possible health issues - you see, you without a doubt will end up drinking MORE coffee than you did before owning the Jura Impressa Z5. And of course, there is also that slim danger that you will become a coffee snob!

Weighing the pros and cons when you make a big purchase is important. All things considered, the pros do outweigh the cons in this case.
