There is nothing more treasured to us than our children and it makes sense to protect them with the safest and best equipment on the market. So it is reassuring to know that every KidCo Gate surpasses all U.S. federal safety standards as well as any applicable voluntary safety standards set forth by the rigid American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) as administered by the Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association (JPMA). Below are summaries of various models of Kidco Gate, many of which are award winning.
Offering unique pressure mount system for quick and simple insallation, the Kidco Gate Gateway G11 can be mounted without the need for tools or hardware. A special gauge included with the gate tests for recommended pressure. This allows the gate to be safely and securely fixed but lets a grown up release the handle quite easily with a single hand. Opening in both directions for ease of access from either direction while the gate frame stays securely in position. Constructed of tubular steel, the basic Gateway® is designed for openings 30" - 36" wide and the gate stands 29½" high. The KidCo gate Gateway G11 is listed as one of the 'three things you should buy' when looking for children's safety items by the revered consumer body CR Smartshop.
The Safeway KidCo Gate 20 has been rated number one for use at the top of a stairway, for a second time, by a leading independent consumer organization. With it's simple to adjust hardware and exclusive feature that stops the gate from swinging out over the stairs, the Safeway is ideal for top of stairs installation. For added security, the Safeway gate is permanently mounted, the framework and mount is simple to install. This gate is a flexible option and as though the G20 is recommended for top of stairways, it is also suited to be fitted in doorways and bottom of the stairway. This really is one versatile little gate, with the option of being able to release it from its permanent mount to fix it by it's hinges to angled walls or railings . The Safeway is constructed of strong tubular steel and the 30½" height and non-toxic coating are great for children or pets. The Safeway G20 can be fixed in recesses with 24¾ inches to 43½ inches width.
The Elongate G60 Kidco gate is designed for use in extra wide openings making it the perfect solution for hallways or passageways. For protection around the fireplace through autumn and winter, the Hearthgate G70 is the solution to keep your kids away from the hot spot while still allowing for easy access for adults to tend to the fire area. Coming in modular form, the G80 Configurgate allows you to block off oddly shaped areas, a great solution as you can add as many sections as you need.
So don't take any chances with your young ones, make sure they are safe and secure around the home with a KidCo gate to keep them out of trouble.
