The technology that Dyson has invented flings the dirt and dust to the bottom of the cyclone canister allowing for the maximum flow of air ultimately ending in constant power and suction. Dyson engineers have also been constantly and continuously improving on this technology. Tradition vacuums have used bags which trap dirt while the air flows through microscopic holes in the bag. Eventually these holes are filled with dirt and the loss of suction ensues.
The durability of Dyson vacuum is another thing to consider when purchasing. The plastic that comprises the housing of the vacuum has been dubbed, "Liquid Steel". Long life and longevity are the ideas that are kept in mind while a Dyson vacuum is being created. Although the price may be steep in comparison to other vacuums, the level of service and reliability far outweighs the cost.
