Acne Free Clear Skin - Can a Low Gi Diet Give You Acne Free Clear Skin?

Acne is a very difficult condition to analyse which it difficult for sufferers to attain acne free clear skin. Researchers find it difficult to pinpoint an exact remedy because what works for one sufferer might not work for another.

There are divided camps when it comes to diet, one side thinks that it plays a major role while the others don't think it has much of an effect. Those that believe diet is a prime cause have suggested that a low GI (glycemic index) diet may severely reduce acne break outs.

So how is a low GI diet supposed to give you acne free clear skin?

Findings suggest that a low GI diet that is high in protein will improve acne from the inside out because you will be consuming natural ingredients as opposed to processed foods.

This study may seem like welcome news for long time acne sufferers but there are still researchers who have their doubts on this.

The researchers of the study believe that a low GI diet that is high in protein will help to prevent acne by ensuring that the blood sugar levels remain at an even level rather than fluctuating too much.

If a low GI diet does work, it seems that it will be like most acne remedies and treatments, it will work for some but not for others. The only way you'll find out is if this diet will give you acne free clear skin is to give it a go yourself.
