Acne Homemade Remedies

On the market today you can easily find a lot of acne treatment or acne prevention remedies, such as cleansers, astringents, medicated soaps and creams, but not in all cases they appear to be affective or often they lead to an absolutely opposite effect, when a person is allergic to certain substances. In this case home remedies are the best solution.  They are highly effective, safe and much more cost-efficient. You can easily  make facial masks yourself from trustful natural ingredients you can buy in any supermarket.

Homemade facemask is the best way to clean the face and provide natural balance of your skin. Here are some simple recipes to make acne masks.

  1. Garlic mask. Garlic is not only a perfect cleanser, but it also works as antibiotic. However, in a big amount it can cause slight skin burns, therefore, for making a mask you need only about eight cloves of raw garlic. Mash them and apply to the face for about 15 min. Remove the mask with a warm cloth and rinse it off.
  2. Bran and Baking Soda Mask. Bran is the outer layer of wheat or cereal grains and soda is used as a scrub. To make a mask you need to add mixture of baking soda and water in bran. Apply the mask to your face and gently massage for 10-15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and dry your face with a soft towel.
  3. Lime Juice Mask. Mix limejuice and groundnut oil and apply all over the face. This mask is very effective specially in preventing acne, as limejuice turns the oil into amino acids, so your skin does not absorb the oil at all, but receives all favorable  substances.
  4. Parsley Face Mask. This mask is good for fat skin and is made from a mixture of 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley and 3 teaspoons of sour cream. Leave it for 10 min and wash off with warm water.

Besides masks you can make some lotions. Here are some examples:

  1. Vinegar lotion is the most common homemade acne treatment. It reduces redness and helps to cure acne in general. Apply apple vinegar (1 tablespoon) mixed with 20oz of water before going to bed.
  2. Tea tree oil is a strong antiseptic that effectively eliminate infection and helps to diminish scarring after the acne is treated. Pure tea tree oil is applied with a cotton swab one of twice per day.
  3. Honey lotion. Mix 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of honey and 7 oz of water, shake it. The mixture should be liquid enough. Apply it several times per day and wash off with water.

These homemade remedies are fast, easy to make and can certainly help you in treating you’re acn
