There are a number of products and techniques available for acne scars removal and odds are one of them can work for you. When a case of acne finally clears up you would think it would be a cause for celebration but when unsightly scarring remains, the depression can grow deeper. They usually require several treatments spread out over an extended period of time and the redness and irritation from the chemicals can be uncomfortable. If the milder acids are not effective, something more stronger might be tried like trichloroacetic acid (TCA). TCA has not only shown to be effective in removing acne scars but it is also used to get rid of unwanted tattoos and age spots.
If the scar removing cream or chemical peels do not work to your satisfaction there are still other acne healing and scar removal options available. Cosmetic surgeons are making great strides in removing acne scar through laser surgery. A laser light pen is used to burn off the scars. This procedure usually requires several sessions and can be expensive at up to $1500 per session.
