Remedy #1 – Aloe Vera

One of the acne skin care home remedies to try is Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera is known to soothe skin and it also has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Using the gel direction on the skin can help to calm the inflammation and it can kill bacteria from the acne as well. Taking it internally can help cleanse the body, leading to clearer skin as well.


Remedy #2 – Garlic

You may be surprised that one of the best home remedy skin care tips is to use garlic on your skin. Garlic is an anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and an anti-fungal. This makes it a perfect option for fighting acne. A raw piece of garlic can be rubbed on the skin and then wash away about 15 minutes later. Although the smell is not desirable, using garlic can provide great results.

Remedy #3 – Honey and Cinnamon

Another of the acne skin care home remedies you may want to try is a mixture of honey and cinnamon. You can make a paste by combining some cinnamon powder with honey. Apply over the area affected by the acne and allow to dry. Wash it away with warm water about 30 minutes later. Honey is known to have anti-inflammatory properties and combined with cinnamon; it can really help to reduce redness and inflammation, which commonly occur with acne.

Remedy #4 – Oatmeal

Oatmeal isn't just a great breakfast item. It can also be used as an acne skin care home remedy. Oatmeal can be mixed with some water to make a paste. Apply the oatmeal to the face like a mask, allowing to sit for about 15 minutes. Wash away with warm water. The oatmeal helps to freshen skin and sooth it, helping to eliminate acne problems.
