Acne is most common chronic disorder of the skin . Acne is the inflammation of sebaceous glands (oil glands) and hair follicle . In puberty stage hormones called androgen is responsible for activating sebaceous glands to produce sebum . The pores of skin are clogged because of irregular shedding of skin cells , Propioni bacterium acne ( bacteria) attacks clogged skin resulting inflammation and irritation .

Acne is responsible for causing lot of mental stress , lack of confidence by changing the looks of the sufferer .

CAUSES OF ACNE :-

- Food allergy .

- Environmental factors like high humidity .

- Stress :stress is responsible for hormonal imbalance . Stress increases the production of cortisone hormone , whish can aggravate acne .

- Excess of vitamins like B1 , B6 , B12 .

- Cosmetics or exposure to airborne grease .

- Family history means parents having acne .

- Sweating and friction cased by tight clothing

Acne treatment :-

- Avoid packaged and preprocessed food .

- Drink lots of water . Water is the best natural treatment for acne , as water eliminates toxins from the body as it is a natural cleanser .

- Go for diet rich in vit. A, Vit.E , pantothenic acid , these vitamins prevent acne and acne scars resulting from them .

- Apply paste of sandal wood and fresh basil leaves .

- Apply paste of crushed strawberry leaves .

 - Increase your body immune system.

- Avoid fried food , try raw fruits and vegetables .

- Get plenty of sleep .

- Keep your face neat and clean therefore wash your face at least 3 to 4 times a day .
- Apply essential oils, such as Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil.
- For sensitive skin, dilute the oil with grape seed oil.
- Natural treatment for acne- Apply the oil before going to bed at night, then wash it away in the morning with a pure soap, such as Ivory, and clean water .
