How To Get Rid Of Acne fast with a little known tip

After another holiday season of overindulging, the consequences were beginning to show themselves. At the first glance, I was positive that I was in the clear as my waist had been largely unaffected (cleaning the snow off my car had proved excellent additional exercise). But later I realised that I had a much bigger problem; I had to get rid of my acne that was beginning to form bump by bump. I didn't want to repeat my misfortunes as a teenager when I tried to wait it out…and ended up with a forehead and a chin full of acne!!! Those days of frustration, anxiety and worry were behind me.

After going through a long period of being predominantly acne free I decided to seek the advice of a good friend who herself had managed to get rid of the acne that was causing her huge discomfort. I knew that by taking action I would not have to suffer any longer.

I soon discovered that a quality acne treatment product is not enough to get rid of your acne as quickly as possible; your daily routine and habits impact on how quickly you are able to get rid of acne. After analysing my daily routines, my friend pointed out to me that I had some bad habits that were contributing to my acne:

  1. I was touching my face too often; having never paid attention to the amount of times or the frequency of which I was touching my face was a big mistake!! During the day our hands are exposed to numerous bacteria and dirt and when we touch our face all we are doing is transferring that dirt and bacteria to our skin where it can start to form acne.
  2. I was not exercising enough; with my busy lifestyle I was not exercising more than twice a week, at best. Exercise is vital as it restores order to fluctuating hormone levels, which in turn reduces sebum production in the follicles (sebum overproduction is what causes acne). Sweating also helps to clear out the pores, ushering those dead skin cells to the surface where they can't cause as much trouble.
  3. I was not showering immediately after exercise; when exercised at this small gym near my work, I never showered there immediately after, preferring instead to go home and shower. Because of the traffic (and the fact that I live a fair way away from the CBD) the time from which I stopped exercising to when I took a shower was enough for the sweat to evaporate and to leave a trail of salt that blocked my recently cleared pores…paving the way for acne to form.
