Natural Acne Skin Care- 3 Basic Steps in Natural Healing

In this post let me discuss the three basic steps to any natural acne skin care program that must be followed in a natural acne healing routine.

Skin plays an important role in our body; it's not just an aesthetic organ. It performs more functions than most other organs in our body and works harder than the liver to detox toxins. So I do everything to take good care of my skin so it can reward me afterwards.

The basic foundation of taking care of acne is the three step practice of the home care natural acne skin care treatment to stabilize the ph balance of skin and guard it from acne. That is to Cleanse, Treat and Tone.

Cleanse Your Face

Retaining bacteria build up away from the skin is necessary to managing acne. To keep your skin dirt and bacteria free to prevent oil build up, breakouts and acne inflammation, cleanse your face twice a day with a natural acne skin care cleanser containing soothing natural ingredients.

Any acne cleanser created for acnaic skin must be soap-free to avoid stripping the acid mantle layer of the skin. A cleansing gel which does not cause drying is ideal, particularly one that contains T Tree, Aloe Vera, and Witch hazel or honey.

Use a Toner

Using a toner that is free from the drying and stripping effects of alcohol is important for several reasons. Firstly it removes the final bits of grease and dirt not able to be picked up by the cleanser and secondly it is an opportunity to get nutrient dense ingredients on the skin that cannot be carried in creams or oils. Minerals for example are best absorbed in toners rather than moisturizers. The best type of toner is a spray that you spritz your face with then dab into the skin with a cotton pad, rather than spraying on the pad where most of the ingredients is absorbed into the cotton rather than the skin.

Treating the problem

The third step is to treat the cause, which is often a complex of internal and external factors. Most acne kicks off with a hormonal imbalance which causes the sebaceous glands to produce excessive oil that carries toxins the body is naturally ridding itself of as you progress through the hormonal phase.

A natural way to support hormonal balance is consuming a healthy diet rich is fresh fruits and vegetables and low in inflammatory foods like dairy, conventionally grown read meat and chicken, drinking plenty of water and taking supportive herbs and amino acids in particular.
