Pimples are small skin lesions or inflammations commonly arising from clogged or infected pores. Pimples appear in the age group of between 12 and 25 years. The skin has tiny pores which are connected to oil glands. The pimples are seen about 80% so it is very common thing. The women typically develop pimple outbreaks during their menstrual cycle when their hormones surge before or during their menstrual cycle. The most widely seen men and women in their 30s and 40s years. It appears as red eruptive blisters or like rashes on the face, neck, chest and back. Pimples occur with pubescence because the sebaceous glands are stimulated by androgens, the male hormones.

The causes of pimple are blackheads, over activity of the sebaceous glands, bacteria, infection, yellow spot, applying makeup, stress, scars. The symptoms of pimple are whiteheads, slight burning, pricking pain, redness around the skin eruptions, scarring of the skin.

Treatment for pimples

Pimples can be removed by using the certain medicines, creams, soap and some home remedies. Other long-term remedies such as facial masks, diet adjustments and increasing the amount of water you drink can also help combat outbreaks.

The skin needs a certain amount of oil to maintain its natural condition, so avoid aggressive washing with strong soaps.
Every 30 minutes, apply an ice pack to the pimple and hold it there for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain that sometimes comes along with it.
Tea Tree Oil is a natural antibiotic and antiseptic.
Homeopathic treatment can give permanent relief to recurrent pimples.
Don't squeeze your pimples and do the sebum extractions.
Shampoo your hair daily, especially if it's oily.
Oral anti-androgen drugs which are also used as oral contraception may be used by females to treat moderate acne.
The topical antibiotic lotion applied to the skin can be used to control the pimples.
Synthetic vitamin A derivatives called retinoids such as retinoic acid cream and isotretinoin pills pregnant women and physically active adolescent females should not take Accutane, as it causes severe birth defects.
The antibiotics are used to control the infection.
Hydration through drinking plenty of water and fruits rich with water-content like watermelon, oranges, cucumbers and pineapples helps keep skin disorders like pimples.
Chaste Tree Berry may be taken internally to aid in reducing acne breakouts related to hormonal changes from PMS.
