Getting along with people is for most a tragic accident waiting to happen. Most people can't do it. Whether its Friday night, or Monday morning getting along with strangers is last thing on your mind. But Why is it so important? Why? Gaze in your past for a minute and think about all the strangers you've met, most are not bad at all. Yes, I must say that there are people who struggle financially, emotionally, and physically, and being friends with such people is frowned upon. Still, we must see the big picture. All of us strive to one place of another and it's our purpose to help others achieve their goals. You would be surprised what treasure there is in an unknown friend.
Getting along with people is tedious and we all have experienced that dawning feeling of dead silence. Striking up a conversation starts with the word Hi! Then usually follows with How are you? , after that you can literally take the conversation anywhere. You can talk about the weather, sports, news, anything. The secret to having a long conversation is by humor or providing real value to them. If the other person is genuinely interested in you then don't just brush it off like a spot on your shirt – no! You should get to know that person and stay connected with them. Getting along with people starts with remembering their name, finding out what they like, their interests, hobbies, and becoming connected.
