10 Creative Marriage Proposals

Marriage proposals made over a romantic dinner are not always creative. Most ladies dream about the day their dream guy proposes to them and expects the day to be perfect in every way. A recent study showed that most married ladies felt that their partners splurged extravagantly on marriage proposals but that the unoriginality of it left them disappointed.

One creative way to propose for spouses in a long distance relationship is to have a surprise visit and set up a scavenger hunt. You may have a friend give your spouse instructions for the hunt. You might hide tiny surprises like candy, flowers and a CD on the first stops during the scavenger hunt, and then hide at the final location, ready to propose when your girlfriend completes the game.

An outdoor fan might appreciate a proposal during a camping trip. You might hide the ring in your sleeping bag to enhance the element of surprise. Another option to propose is to have all your buddies and relatives join the event by inviting them to a surprise party for your girl.

Yet another way to propose is to hide the ring in an unusual location. You could pretend to have a clogged sink and whilst working to mend the clog, reach into the sink and pull out the ring.

Getting the waiter to bring out the ring with the bill is another play on traditional proposal. You could pretend to hint that you will be proposing, and your girlfriend will expect your proposal with each course. Get the waiter to bring out the ring only at the end of the dinner.

A wonderful marriage proposal does not need to be costly. A lot of ladies are likely to hold dear the memories of a proposal that was cheap but really creative.
