Crush It! and Linchpin – A comparative review
By Clint Maki http://clintmaki.com

These two books go together like a great steak and Red wine.

Linchpin by Seth Godin describes your role as an achiever in life as the expression of an art form. No matter what business you are in, you bring it to life by using your passion and expressing it as an activity. (You MUST ship) Overcoming the innate desire to resist that passion is pivotal to your success in any endeavor whether it’s MLM, Real Estate or marketing any other business. Be sure to step up and stand out.

Crush it describes Gary Vanerchuck’s rise from obscurity running a discount liquor store to Internet stardom via leverage of his greatest asset; Passion. Gary describes the how AND the why of using social media marketing to leverage his time and promote his Brand; Gary.

If you have a sense of purpose that is dying to be expressed, then you need these two books. Also, consider hiring a professional Coach. Both of these books hit hard on the idea that relationships and Mentors are VITAL to your journey. Meeting and helping the right people will propel you as well as develop the potential of another.

Advertising today is like the weather. Everyone talks about advertising, but few entrepreneurs do enough about it to change or improve it. When you ask what the "big deal" is with advertising, that's an excellent question, because no matter how you want to view it there is one proven fact which is true of business owners and entrepreneurs worldwide...
