Gav Gets Birthday Halloween Costume
Kash was flabbergasted at the idea of wearing a Medusa Halloween costume from a United States shop to the birthday party of Gav, her favorite cousin. He’s turning 10 in November and Kash’s Aunt Dolly, Gav’s mom, suggested she wear the atrocious Medusa since it’s the Halloween month fanyway.
Still in disbelief despite her aunt’s explanation, Kash thought it would be wiser if she secured herself with a custom made kids Halloween costume from the Unites States shop her aunt had gone to earlier. Besides, the place offers innumerable choices of Halloween costumes everybody in the Unites States will surely find a piece that will suit him, so why did Aunt Dolly pick Medusa for her? Kash could only wonder.
The next day, Kash woke up early and walked to the shop which happens to be just a block from her house. When she was just 10 feet away, she saw the man in the shop, perhaps the owner, turn the door sign from close to open. Kash was so thrilled that she need not squeeze into a crowd of Superman and Hannah Montana wannabes. The shop is almost always crowded as it never runs out of people purchasing or ordering party supplies. United States can actually put this shop in the Guinness Book of Records since it is literally swarming with children and adults each hour every day of the entire week.
Once inside, Kash spotted a pink Backyardigans! What kid in the US does not watch this famous Nick Jr. show? Kash whispered. The costume comes with accessories! “United States, I’m ready to be famous!” Kash was so thrilled as she imagined herself in the Backyardigans attire. She asked the Mister in the store how much everything would cost her and was surprised when he said any amount in her pocket would do. Kash checked her wallet and gave him $50 then started for the door, but he called her to a halt. When Kash turned around, the man handed to her some loose change and said the entire getup only cost $44.
Kash was struck with awe. How can something beautiful and creatively done cost so low? She thanked the kind owner and headed home immediately. She told herself she has to engage her friends in a phone conference and get the word out about this fabulous costume shop situated in her neighborhood.
