Local Mobile Search

Local mobile marketing is becoming the wave of the future. Its full potential is just right around the corner. With the speed of smartphone, tablet pc and GPS enabled device introductions local and mobile search will be the first choice of the buying public. Most searches are for business locations within a 5 mile radius. If your website is not at the top of the search results you will not be found, ultimately leading to a loss in revenue and potential customers.

If your website is not mobile friendly or you do not have a mobile enabled landing page it will be hard for consumers to locate your business. Smart phones and other small smart devices will become the norm and the days of print ads, telephone books and computer search will become passé. With applications, just around the corner, such as augmented reality you will be able to take a picture of any building with the camera onboard and see exactly where you are at on the onscreen map.

With newer better performing applications such as QR readers the smartphone will be able to do almost everything the desk top computer can do. With the ability to be scanned and used to pay for purchases at stores you will no longer have to fumble through your wallet looking for your credit cards in the checkout line any more. If you have your smartphone with you, you will have the functions of a GPS, camera, Internet browser, PDA, calculator, payment terminal, calendar, scheduler and I almost forgot, a cell phone.

Many businesses advertise with flyers and getting them into the hands of the general public is of great importance. If the delivery people make a stuff-up in any way, it reflects badly on the company. The company will be blamed if those flyers are left to blow around the streets.
