Orange County New York: A Perfect Blend Of The Old And New

Each year thousands of visitors flock to the Hudson Valley to experience the beauty, historic ambience of Orange County New York. Orange County is located in the Hudson Valley, and as in the rest of the valley, you will find numerous historic monuments and buildings peppered amongst green rolling hills. Along with all these attractions, Orange County is the home of West Point.

With rolling green hills and beautiful countryside, pristine lakes and meandering rivers, an abundance of recreational opportunities exist in Orange County which is attracting new residents from all areas of the country, especially from within the New York.

Residential housing options abound everywhere in Orange County. Beautiful single-family custom homes are being built new, along with many new and modern condo and town home complexes. Older homes are going on the market in older and established neighborhoods in many of the towns and communities. Many of the homes are large executive estate type homes and many are located along waterfront locations in unique settings. There are commercial real estate options also available. Rental options for single family homes, condos, town homes and apartments are just about everywhere with prices ranging from the affordable to very expensive, depending on size, location and age.

Orange County is business friendly. There is a vast, educated labor pool and a highly prized school system where children's educations are top priority in every community within the county.

Golfing is a big sport here, which is reflected by the amount of PGA rated courses located throughout the area. Horseback riding trails, hiking trails; biking trails, winter skiing, and water sports of all kind are all readily available close by.

Perhaps with all these amenities that the Orange County area has to offer is why more and more city dwellers are relocating in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
