Finding high-performance Paleo diet for athletes recipes online can be a very excruciating experience. I spent so much time plodding numerous recipe sites and what did I get in return?  

Well, I ended up with a bunch of generically dull Paleo meal plans and recipesAnd what made me even more upset was that those recipes were not even 100% Paleo-friendly!

They listed all sorts of non-Paleo compliant ingredients like yam, pasta and even processed sugar!

You see, apart from being an avid Paleolithic diet follower, I'm also a recreational bodybuilder. Therefore, I require precise Paleo diet for athletes recipes to jack up my strength and performance in the gym.

Luckily, one of my Skype buddies is also a practitioner of the caveman diet. So he gave me a link to this website where a deluxe collection of Paleo cookbooks were being offered in downloadable format.


There are tons of essential recipes in those cookbooks and I can't thank my buddy enough for recommending it to me. I feel pretty happy about it so I'm going to share with you one of my favorite high-protein Paleo diet for athletes recipes.

Power Recipe (1) – Lean Turkey Breast Roasted with Herbs

Ingredients:

4 Pounds of lean turkey breast

(Herbs mixture)
1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 Teaspoon finely sliced rosemary
1 Teaspoon finely sliced sage
1 Teaspoon finely sliced thyme
5 Cloves garlic (mashed)
1 ½ Tablespoon olive oil

Directions:

Oven should be preheated to about 370 degrees.
Make sure to pat dry the turkey breast after rinsing it.
Place all herbs mixture ingredients in a bowl, mix them well and then rub all over the turkey breast
Now, lay the turkey breast on a roasting pan and proceed to roast for about 50 to 60 minutes.
