Recycled items are a great way to leave a memorable impression on the community when donating promotional merchandise to a community fundraiser. Anything from promotional pens to mugs to key chains can be made from recycled plastic materials.
Recycled promotional items are becoming more readily available and more popular every day. There are probably many reasons for their popularity, but two major reasons are; to help with environmental conservation efforts and secondly because many other materials are not from renewable sources.
The community awareness factor is another reason for using recycled promotional gifts. A business can build image and popularity by contributing to a community in a significant way. Providing gifts for a community fundraiser event is one way to gain visibility in the local community and get some additional advertising impact from your expenditure on the promotional items you contribute.
There are so many recycled products that are available for promotional use. Plastic, wood, paper and fabrics as well as other items like reconditioned tools, electronics, and machinery are also available. Most typically note pads, tote bags, folders, and small plastic items like key chains or rings that can be imprinted with a company or product name or logo are used for promotional gifts.
Some are very obviously recycled, saying recycled right on the product. Not all need to be imprinted to be useful for advertising purposes either. Just providing an earth friendly product can add to a business image. But, for gift purposes, use the imprint! Spread your company name or product image around with giveaways of recycle promotional gifts.
If saving the earth is not enough, another consideration and important factor to consider when using recycled name and logo products for promotion is the fact that they are usually well within most advertising budgets and they are also tax deductible.
