RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new information to their site. There’s a bit of debate about what RSS stands for but most people say it means 'Really Simple Syndication'.
A great feature of this technology is that you can get updates, news and video in one central place as soon as it has been released without having to visit lots of websites where the feeds have come from.
So what are these feeds? They are just web pages.
If a website offers a feeds service, you should see an orange button with a white dot and two white radiating marks to the right of the dot. RSS feeds are often used to let people know when there is new sports and news information available.
What about competition RSS feeds?
They can also give you new competition alerts if you use competition websites. What you do is sign yourself up to a competition feed on your favourite competition website. You will then be able to see when there are new competitions — saving you time checking this each time you visit the website.

Is there a way to generate an RSS feed for the search results of a Google Custom Search engine? I mean a feed which would notify you whenever a new URL appears in the search results.
If that is not "directly possible", any ideas how it can be made through external tools, e.g. via a macro or something else?
