Toronto, Ontario
The largest of Canada's cities, Toronto boasts an ethnic diversity unrivalled in other destinations, whilst still keeping an endearing, village like quality in its suburbs. Wake up to panoramic view of one of the worlds most beautiful cities, and see on the skyline the CN Tower; the worlds tallest tower at 553.33m. Take a day to visit the tower, and once the lift docks at the top you can lay on the glass floor and look down at the ant sized cars, full of people going about their day to day life. Take a chance to eat at their restaurant and be dazzled by the stunning views, panning as far as the Lake Ontario. Toronto also boasts scenic surroundings, with Niagara just a few hours drive away, and Toronto Islands a mere ten minutes from Yonge Street, in the heart of the city. On the island you can experience some picturesque beaches, have bbqs and generally enjoy the gentle pace of the beautiful island. Back in the city, take a trip to the Eaton Centre, the large shopping mall modelled on the Galleria in Milan, Italy. Here you can take your pick of a plethora of shops and a great range of eating outlets, to satisfy even the most adventurous palate. If your heart desires to get away from the high street shops and restaurants, venture over to Bloor Street where you can find a great selection of ethnic boutiques and unique eateries, and this is a great area to really feel the village style friendliness of the area.

If you get the chance to visit in the winter, take the time to leave the city for a day, and partake in some great winter activities. In a couple of hours you can reach great places for skiing, snowboarding, and, an unusual one for most: the snow tube. A brilliant idea, taking a reinforced rubber ring, giving it a tarpaulin base and pinging you down the hill in it. Its a very exhilarating experience, and you get a chance to calm your nerves as you sit on the ski hook, being dragged back up the slope for another go. Hours of fun! Make sure you have your Travel Insurance policy in place however, these activities can be quite dangerous if not done properly.
The Canadian people are warm and accommodating and will make your whole trip one that you will never forget.
