What Type of Coffee/Marketer Are You?
Are you bold and daring like Turkish coffee? Or do you market like watered down decaf? Here are the three types of coffee/marketing personalities. Which one are you?
1. Turkish Coffee-Decisive Competitive. Turkish coffee is very fine ground up beans, which makes it the strongest type of coffee in my book. This type of coffee is bitter and bold; it jumps up and bites you just when you least expect it. The marketing personality that goes with this type of coffee is Decisive Competitive – you tend to approach problems with decisive competitive actions to solve them. You are a go-getter with a driving force, which allows you to make determined, competitive, strategic moves in your marketing campaigns. And your competitors get bit never knowing what hit them.
3. Decaf Store Brand Coffee-Wishy Washy. As you have guessed this is the weakest coffee out there; even worst is the instant kind. If you are a coffee person, you know what I mean. This type of coffee is quick to make so a lazy person can roll out of bed, make the coffee and hurry to the couch to watch Netflix. And that brings me to the Wishy Washy marketer. Did you catch that sentence about the lazy person? That is how the Wishy Washy marketer works or rather, doesn’t work. He/she places one classified ad then sits back and expects the money just to roll in. ‘The Internet fairies will find that one tiny ad and bring the customers flocking to buy so I can get rich.’ Says the Wishy Washy marketer on the couch drinking his/her Decaf Instant Store Brand Coffee.
