Everyone knows how you become wealthy and rich right? It's pretty obvious, you simply get well educated, work hard, earn successive promotions and you will eventually be able to say that you are rich. Well, that is what most people seem to think about becoming rich and indeed that is the idea that is taught in most school around the world.
Now let's think, would you try to learn the violin from someone who has only learned to play a few notes? Of course not that would be silly, you would want to find someone who knew exactly what they were talking about.
So, why is it then that most of the wealth education that most people have is from their teachers at school. Don't get me wrong, teachers are generally well educated in their subject areas and fine members of the community, however what do they really know about wealth creation and becoming rich? Are they the right people to be learning off. For starters they are working for their money, they are trading time for money which is not the best type of wealth and secondly I don't know too many millionaire teachers either.
Really we need to be learning wealth creation by people who have done it already and those people see to all go about earning their money in a completely different way. Sure they might start out with jobs to earn some seed money but they do not become rich from their jobs
What the rich tend to realise pretty soon is that they need to provide a service. OK, well so do teachers but the BIG difference is they realise that the service they create need to be able to be offered when they are nowhere near it and completely automatically so they have no real ties to it. The famous author of The Science Of Getting Rich, Wallace D Wattles put it best when he wrote:
"You can only become rich when you expand your service beyond your current presence."
That is what the majority of rich people I know have done. Writing books, creating information products: e-books, audio mp3s, CDs, automated online businesses. These are all fine examples of ways that you can become wealthy through utilising this principle of making money where you are not and when you are doing other things.
Now if you can combine the above with a subject you are passionate about, something you love then magic will start to happen in your life. Your passion will make you persistent and working on your project perhaps in your spare time whilst you are still working a job to pay the bills will be a pleasure. Your service will echo the love and passion you have put into them and they will sell whilst you are quite literally asleep.
