“Our doubts are traitors, Shakespeare says, “and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.”

The writer as a young man schooled in the schooled of hard knocks, I often learned and realized that the greatest obstacle to a man’s success in life is not due to below average IQ but because of lack of will to start his plan and a lack of courage to do it till the end as well as a lack of faith and believe in his power.

Dear reader if you want to accomplish something in this world or to become the ideal person you dreamed of yourself, condition and teach your mind to think positively. Eliminate self – pity, worries, doubts, and fears in your life, for these can only create a hellish turmoil and makes your mind to function unproductively.

Don’t be like a mouse that dwelt near the abode of a great magician was kept in such constant distress by its fear of a cat, that the great magician, taking pity on it, turned it into a cat itself. Immediately it began to suffer from its fear of a dog, so the magician turned it into a dog. Then it began to suffer from fear of a tiger. Then the magician therefore turned it into a tiger. Then it began to suffer from fear of a hunter, and the magician said in disgust: “Be a mouse again. As you have only the heart of a mouse, it is impossible to help you by giving you the body of a nobler animal.”

Again, don’t be like a mouse! You are a special and unique individual. The loving God gives you the mind, the ears, the eyes, the mouth, the hands, and the feet to help you to transform your plans into reality. Therefore stop thinking negatively! Be good to your self. Choose to be a captain of your soul today, and surely, the world will make a way for you!

Remember that the “Kingdom of God is within you”! So continue on conditioning your mind to think positively, to have faith and believe in yourself!

But if times come and you will fall back into negative thoughts such as fear, worries, and self-pity, remind yourself again and again with this word: “Take charge of your thoughts, so you can do what you will, will.”

Use that affirmation every time you will succumb by inferiority complex, so the feeling of insecurity and fear will banish from you.

Finally, remember that God helps those who help themselves!

Good luck to your journey in life!

By: ConfusedFed | 14-11-2008
I am a retired federal civil servant. It is federally insured to open season and I need help in my 2009 options. I am enrolled in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield service benefit plan standard options self only that will cost me $152.06 per month. I am also enrolled in Medicare part A and B that will cause me $96.40 per month. I know I am double playing for a lot of my benefits. I have spent many hours researching, but my reasoning is handicap due to my dyslexia. I believe I have two options. Option 1: change my BCBS plan to the basic option for $92.44 that will save me $59.62 per month. Option 2: keep my BCBS standard option and cancel my Medicare part B. that will save me $96.40. Concerned about relationship
By: coriandermay | 08-11-2008
am a little concerned about the relationship I am in....... both me and my BF talk about everything and anything but with the breakup we had this year and him still tryin to get over someone from such a long time (which is over 6 yrs & I think is way to long to chase after someone and not get anywhere especially after a breakup like we had).....(which I have told him a time or 2 that if we r to get any further with our relationship that he needs to get over her/ start getting over her)..... cause whenever either is brought up we both get so upset about it then he tells be to stop when I am trying to get something explained the way I see it and feel about it and it seems as if we argue when we talk about it cause he keeps telling me to stop arguing about it when I don't mean to..... so I am not sure if it is a good thing that we talk about it or not and if we will last cause we talk about getting married and having kids in like a couple years but for some odd reason I sometimes think he really isn't being serious about it since we have been dating for a little over 2 yrs and not sure when and if he will ever ask me to marry him or not....... so am worried a little if this relationship will last a long time or not?!
