Let us rewrite our history

Time has come when the people of India must call historians to come forward and re-write our history and they should be asked to give more time to investigation on the history of Indian freedom movement. It is on record that many people had been killed by he imperialists through guns, thousands were sent to kalepaani, many were sentenced to death, many were given life imprisonment, many were cane-charged and many were given torture by he police. It is on record that many groups took up arms and stood face to face with the imperialists and many formed army units outside India and started their journey towards Delhi. When we read the present entries in history books of India all these entries are missing and some people sitting at Delhi started entering their own names and it seems they had been engaging historians for this work and they could get suitable entries in their life time and if we have a look on important places, important books and other records, the people who were controlling and taking over from the imperialists could get their own places and all other entries had been ignored only because they were trying to establish that this independence had been got by them and that too through peaceful means. The people of India and even the historians remained silent and they were allowed to have their own entries and places.
We shall have to re-write our history because the present set of books is not giving the true records. It is an accepted fact that even in partition of 1947 about 8.00.000 people had been killed and about 11,00,00,000 people had been forced to migrate to unknown places. It is an accepted fact that thousands of parents lost their sons and daughters, thousands of women had turned widow, thousands of the children had been reduced to orphanage and many women had to face rape and assault. All these events had been ignored and could not get proper entries in history books and the people who did not allow these entries in history books are identified people, but since the people are no more in this world, the historians are at liberty to reinvestigate the events and must give proper place to all events in history books. The present record is not correct and had been disturbed by those who wanted to give more shine to their own names and to their own contributions. They knew that had subhash Chandra come back in time, he would have been our first Prime Minister. We all know that people Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev could not get proper entry in history books in 1947-48. They could get the status of martyrs after two decades. If we trace the history of these martyrs, we shall find so many other wrong entries in books of history and there are chances that some of the wrong entries may have to be removed from our books of history.
Even in text books there are so many wrong entries and our student public is given wrong information about history of India. All the people who had been ruling India at all the times had been giving shape to events as per their own desire and this continued even after independence and our historians had to ignore all the events leading to freedom and hey too ignore to locate names of all those who had been fighting in war of independence and had been placing their lives at the altar of freedom movement.
Therefore, through this small article, we invite attention of all the famous historians to come forward and give us correct information about the freedom movement in India and they should also locate, identify and recognize the real freedom fighters and give them proper place in history and if some people could get wrong entries and if some people could gather wrong information and added that information with their name, those entries should be written off from books of history. It may also be found out whether the freedom movement in India was peaceful one or it was a great struggle in which thousands sacrificed their lives and then we could get freedom. When they say that it was a peaceful struggle and we got freedom peacefully, hearts of those who suffered during the freedom struggle and especially in partition of 1947starts bleeding and they feel pain.
