Are dream killers present in your life? People who discourage you when you are attempting to make changes within your life are classed as dream killers. You will be amazed at the quantity of people that inform their friends and family that they cannot succeed. Unfortunately, this especially rings true when you are attempting do undertake something "outside of the box" such as starting your own business or making money online.
The main disagreement that these dream killers have is that you have unrealistic goals. They will pretend to offer you advice and tell you to be more "practical".
A majority believe that by discouraging you, they are in actual fact doing you an act of kindness. They think that they are assisting you to live a life in "your best interest". However, they are in actual fact encouraging you to live a life without any vision.
If success is what you are motivated towards, then do not do anything less to reach your ambitious goals, otherwise it will be unfulfilling for you. You will always be wondering what could have been. Rather than live life for yourself, you will be living it for other people.
You will be discouraged by your family and friends from trying something different. This is just a way for them to give you insight into what they would do if they were in your position. They do not have your vision and drive. They can only reach into their own fear.
Just because others choose to take the path of resistance, does not mean that you need to. Your future goals are important to you for a reason. The only time that you will be happy is when you achieve those goals. Just because other people think that your goals are unrealistic, should not result in you giving up on them. This is no way to live your life.
How do you overcome dream killers that are present in your life?
You can firstly begin by selecting who you wish to spend your time with. It is important to spend time with self-motivated people if you wish to be in that category also. The same applies to any aspect of success.
If your close relatives, or long time friends are your dream killers, them attempt to keep your business goals to yourself for a while until you get your business off the ground. You may find that they will be a little more supportive once you have already made a little success.
And last, but certainly not least, being confident in yourself and your goals is the best way that you can overcome the dream killers that are present within your life. Remember that no-one can stop you if you truly believe in yourself and your ideas.
Always place your goals and dreams in front of you at all times. When some of your so called "well-meaning friends" attempt to discourage you, your motivation will keep you focused.
Never allow your dream to be stolen.
