Personal Pride Personal pride is based upon how we feel about ourselves. How we think about ourselves And how we act stems from this. How do we treat ourselves? How do we treat others? How you treat others is a direct reflection of how you treat yourself. When you feel wonderful inside, you make others feel wonderful. We can not have trust with others, if we do not first have trust with ourselves. So how do we build up our bank account of personal pride if it is running out, or in debt? The first thing is to slow down. We are moving so fast these days that we can barely see anything clearly. When we slow down, become aware and get into the now we then have increased our chances of having a large bank account of personal pride. Chances are you are pretty busy, but chances are so is everybody else. Being busy doesn’t always mean you will be satisfied when you stop being busy. Keep yourself clean, by keeping your mind clean. Don’t take on more than you can do. When you do take on too much you spread yourself to thin, there for you start the snowball effect of loosing pride in yourself because you aren’t doing everything to the best of your ability. When you do do things to the best of your ability you demonstrate to yourself integrity. Integrity is the hallmark of all great men and women. Integrity is what greatness is made from. When you slow down and choose to do those things that mean the most to you then you make room for your integrity to shine through. Keep your eyes open to what you are doing that you shouldn’t. If you are ever unsure of whether something is worth carrying on with then ask your small silent voice within. Learn to follow your emotions, they will take you to some place you would have thought otherwise couldn’t go. Believe in yourself, your talent and abilities, trust in the higher power that you will achieve your goals. When you have personal pride you have personal belief and faith that you will reach your goals. Keep at it, hold your head high and eventually your goals will be achieved. You can influence yourself without influence others and this is true if you have personal pride or if you don’t. By learning how to have a large bank account of personal pride others will see and feel this they too will in turn look into themselves for gaining a larger sum of personal pride themselves.
