Pray with clean hands

In all the religions it has been accepted that we should clean ourselves when we sit or stand for prayer before God. People of all the religions get up early in the morning, they take their bath and clean every part of their body and only then they sit for reciting religious books or for conducting their prayer.
In judicial courts the people approaching courts are directed to come down to the court with clean hands which clearly means that the petitioner or the respondent side should not state anything false, wrong, misleading or which is fabricated. they should state clean and that is the reason every petition should be verified on oath. But it is on record that the people still tell lies and most of the facts are concealed or shown otherwise. The same position is with the man. when he coming near God to stand in prayer before Him, he is cleaning his body, but it must be accepted that he is not coming with clean heart. The man had committed so many crimes, so many sins and so many misconducts and all those are on his record when he is standing before God in prayer. He cannot claim that he is true and that is the reason most of the prayers of the man are ignored by God because He too wants clean people before Him as are desired by Courts. The people who are telling lies before courts are often punished under the law of the land and similarly God is punishing us because of dirt on our case. We are not standing before God with clean hands and that is the reason most of our prayers are ignored.
God is not far away from us, but we are not accepting his presence before us and we are not taking him as Omnipresent. That is the reason we are concealing so many things and we believe that even God could not see when we were committing crimes, sins and misconducts. None of us sharing our follies with God when we are standing before Him in prayer. God might be laughing on our behaviour, but we believe that God could not see our conduct and therefore, we take ourselves as clean when we are standing before God in prayer. Our habit of misleading others is present in us when we are before God and that is the reason, we must admit that we are never with clean hands before God and that is the reason we are not fulfilling our prayers.
And the tragedy with man is that he cannot be free and with clean hands and therefore, his prayers shall never be accepted. Till Devil is present on this earth and till God does not recall this Devil, this man shall never be free and he shall continue committing crimes, sins and misconducts. Therefore, we must admit that this man is not in a position to come with clean hands before God and he should never expect that his prayer shall be heard by God.
