If you're looking for sales training to boost or even sky-rocket your results and satisfaction in your professional selling career, then pull up a chair and buckle down, because this is the article that you've been looking for.

In this article, we're going to look at three tips to help you accomplish much more than any sales training you could ever get anywhere else, quickly, and easily.

First, we're going to be talking about self-confidence. Next, we're going to be talking about enthusiasm. Finally, we're going to finish up with procrastination. After reading this article, you'll be able to understand that you or your sales team do not, most likely, need to learn new sales tactics or how to close any better then what you/they already do.

First, let's talk about the importance of self-confidence.

Lack of self-assurance is one of the strongest, yet hidden, negative motivators that keep many sales people stuck and producing mediocre results compared to what they could be accomplishing otherwise.

I have experimented, like many others, with high quality meditation programs that helps a lot in this delicate area. Recorded hypnosis therapy sessions seems to be a good option too, to alter internal strongly rooted beliefs about oneself.

Physical activities like yoga, pilates and martial arts appears to have a powerful, permanent positive effect also.

I understand it is a little strange to talk about improving sales through this not-so-common actions... What if the results could, in fact, astound you? It may not take long to double your sales figures, if you just do what we have talked about so far.

Would doubling your sales performance be valuable to you? Would that be worth your investment and the initial dicomfort of change?

You know that improving your sales results cannot be an isolated benefit, therefore, working in your self-confidence could enrich many other areas in your life such as: relationships, career, self-worth, etc..

Secondly, let's talk about how important enthusiasm really is.

In regarding to enthusiasm we have a few very important and powerful quotes, such as one by Walter Chrysler: "The real secret to success is enthusiasm." Other brilliant minds like: Henry Ford, Edward Butler, Norman Vincent Peale and others also sensed the same thing.

Enthusiasm is the fire that attracts people to watch you burn, but because it is so irresistible, so contagious it can spread like rapid fire captivating everyone on your surroundings. It pays big money, specially, in sales.

The question is: Can you fake it? Someone wrote and advised (How I Raised Myself From Failure To Success In Selling) that you should fake it, that you should act as if you were enthusiastic and after a while you would become fully enthused. I listened, paid attention and applied to the best of my abilities but, it would not last long for me.

I longed for this ability, of being enthusiastic, so much, because I saw and believed what Henry Ford, Walter Chrysler said deep in my heart. I really wanted it...

There is a lot of information out there trying to teach enthusiasm and motivation, sadly, the truth is that the best motivators who walks or have walked this planet will not be able to motivate you for as long as you need to be motivated or enthusiastic about what you do.

Enthusiasm, besides the obvious, is highly dependent on how you feel physically.

Therefore, high quality coaching. Yes. Coaching has been proven to be the fastest way to reach the enthusiasm paradise.

Thirdly, let's take a closer look into the procrastination factor in the sales equation

If enthusiasm is the secret to success like Mr. Chrysler said, then I would say, "Procrastination is what brings most men to their graves with their dreams still in them" Procrastination is the greatest "life-sucker" you will have to abandon if you will ever live a fulfilling sales career and life.

Again we have a lot out there written and said around this subject, mostly of what is been said connects this habit with psychological matters. When in reality it is much simpler that all that non-sense; it makes sense, but will never change anything for you, it will never change what really matters the most: your results.

You read books on the subject, go to seminars, listen to recordings and nothing changes. It may make you feel good, but still, nothing changes. You still putting off even the actions that are very desirable and required to your ascension.

Firstly, one of the reason it happens is because, we human beings, for some weird reason tend to over-complicate everything we touch.

Decide to start looking around for what could be simplified in your career and life.
Simplification and procrastination, for obvious reasons, have a very hard time to coexist.

Clarification is another big procrastination's enemy. If you clarify your actions into simple baby-steps, then, to get going gets super easier.

Your environment is also crucial. Whatever you can control in your environment, you should. You will need to break some old habits that have been distracting you from following your heart's desire.

Now you have the three required elements to surpass your wildest dreams in sales and any other aspect of your life. First, we touched a little around your self-confidence, that may be the culprit holding you back. Second, we discussed enthusiasm as the secret to success. Finally, we demystified procrastination. Now you'll be able to accomplish whatever you set your heart to!
