1. Visualize The Best-

If you have ever tried, you may have noticed how difficult it is to break the habit of criticizing yourself. It's like saying, "Don't think of elephants having sex!" But if a bucket is empty you can't get it full by trying to get "the empty" out. When your self-esteem and confidence are low, you have a similar situation, so instead, set aside a few minutes twice a day to think positively about yourself and confidently about what's coming up in your day or week. These warm feelings will help you to feel better.

2. Daily Self care-

When people feel badly about themselves they usually don't take very good care of themselves. They may take good care of everyone else, but always leave themselves for last. For healthy self-esteem and confidence, every day put time into yourself. Exercise, dress nicely, make nice meals for yourself, keep your home the way you like it, and spend at least an hour of each day doing what you want. All these things are ways of showing yourself that you are important and your happiness and welfare matter.

3. Compliment Others And Spend time With Good People Who Are Positive-

Mutual admiration societies rock. Mutual criticizing societies suck.

4. Focus On Goals-

Having focused goals and working on them steadily will give you a sense of competency and accomplishment. When you are able to predict progress you develop confidence and with that predictability you start to know you will accomplish what you set out to do.

5. Keep A Journal-

Collecting positive thoughts about yourself and being able to read it back when you're feeling low can help you to never lose sight of your qualities and accomplishments.

6. Positive Reflection-

At the end of the day it is much better to look back and review accomplishments than it is to think of what hasn't gotten done and has to be done tomorrow, or to dwell on what you feel you have done wrong or should have done differently.

7. Share Your Accomplishment And Talent-

We're often taught not to be proud of ourselves, but friends actually love hearing about our successes and want to share in our happiness. Sharing and celebrating are very important parts to feeling good about us and having confidence. When we share, our friends can then help us to see ourselves as we really are.
