You have to remember, companies that hire home-based workers are usually overwhelmed with potential candidates. If you contact them, they are much more likely to remember your expressed interest.

5. Avoid those that claim to provide a work from home opportunity for a fee. There are a few legitimate places that may charge a fee for certain things, but watch very closely before committing to those. Why in the world should you have to pay someone for the opportunity to work for them?

6. Patience and persistence are both very important when you are looking. Don't expect to be earning a full time income immediately, unless you happen to get really lucky and instantly land the perfect job.
