3. If you are artistically inclined, show your stuff at the Smithsonian Institution.
The Smithsonian Institution has 16 museums and art galleries and it's so big it would take you one day to see everything! If your work lands here, then you know you've already made it!

4. Love anything education, then head for the National Geographic Society's Explorers Hall.
If you are a budding teacher, then you can start practicing your skills here!
5. Work in Georgetown!
Georgetown is where the trendiest and priciest shops are! This place is so busy you will not run out of things to do and jobs to have!
6. Into broadcasting?
If you are dreaming to be next Peter Jennings or Christiane Amanpour, then working for the Voice of America will do wonders to you. Get a position in the newsroom and you are guaranteed a fast ascent.
7. Run for a position? Why not?
The White House is here, so is the Pentagon and even the FBI! So if you just work hard and dream big, you might snag a position in any of the three! From entry level you can work your way to the top!
You might get dissuaded if you haven't accomplished a lot in the first few months of your stay in the Washington DC. Hey, you do not have to worry.
