Visualizing our success works very well.  Most of us have experienced this at least once.  But how do we actually practice this technique every day, to create the life of our dreams?

I wondered this for years until finally, one day, I decided to take action.  I wasn’t living the life of my dreams and I doubted that I would accidentally find the answers by bumbling around like I had been.

I searched until I found a master teacher to help me.

What I learned transformed my life.  I began living the life I’d always known that I could live.  I began to enjoy my family immensely.  I made a great deal of money.  And I knew that I was making a positive difference for people.

Here are three easy beginning steps for powerful visualizing:

Visualizing Works Step #1:  Get Focused on What You Really Want – The easiest way to do this in a way that actually gives you something concrete to use, is to gather lots of magazines with great pictures in them and start cutting out pictures that you love.  Don’t edit yourself.  Cut them all out, the travel scenes, the fabulous jewelry, the cars, the family pictures, everything, big and small.

When you’ve done this, sift through them over the period of several days picking about twenty that really speak to you.  Then, make a collage or a notebook containing the pictures and keep this handy.  Pictures say many things to your subconscious mind.  These images will go to work to help you create what you’re visualizing.

Visualizing Works Step #2:  Go Through Your House and Get Rid of Things that Remind you of Something Unpleasant – There are certain things that remind you of times when you weren’t so happy.  All of these things—pictures, books, movies, whatever, needed to go.  I didn’t want anything around me that helped me visualize or remember things that weren’t positive.

When you really look through your house and office, you might be surprised at how many things might need to be cleared out.  For instance, after I started my medical practice, I had walls of bookshelves full of medical texts.  Every time I walked into my office, I thought of how much I should be reading.  I actually felt guilty about not reading more.

So I got rid of all of the books that I did not intend to read or didn’t use monthly in my practice.  Then, I felt good about being in my office.

Visualizing Works Step #3:  Think of At Least Three Movies that Somehow Embody What You’re Creating – Movies are powerful and they reach us at a deep level.  Watch these movies every once in while and you’ll be reminded to visualize what it is that inspires you.  I love to collect movies that inspire me deeply.  I always return to those movies when I need a visualization boost.

Remember, find an expert who can guide you through the pitfalls you’ll face when creating a powerful life.  Save yourself time, money, and energy by learning the secrets of transformation.

Visualizing a complex graph
By: FrankK | 28-09-2006
I am looking for a way to visualize a bit of complex data. My data consists of a weighted graph, stored in XML format, which consists of nodes with links between them. A "weight" value is attached to each link. There are several types of links. Basically what I am looking for is an "explorer" type of tool, that would allow me to see what nodes are linked to a specific node, and would also visualize the weight (say, using distances between the nodes - the higher the weight, the closer the nodes are to each other, and with different colors for different link types). Any pointers?

The important thing to remember when we’re stretching our ability to live a joyful life is that emotional upheaval will happen at some time or another. This is a given. By: Dr. Isabella Santorini | 08/06/2008 | Advice
One of the things that I have found so incomplete in my studies about personal transformation is the lack of addressing obstacles that get in our way as we learn to express our true nature, the genius within. The problem is that when we’re acquiring a new skill, such as using our unique talents and living our life’s purpose, we’re vulnerable, moving in uncharted territory. Having emotional upheaval just makes things worse. Here is what I've found that helps.

When my kitchen is clean, the whole house seems easier to keep picked up. But a simple back-up in doing dishes, and the whole kitchen can look like a disaster. But the more cleaned out our kitchens are, the easier it is to clean the entire room in 10 minutes or less.
