What a strange name for this lesion-- Comedo. It comes and does its job! You do not know when it comes, because it is invisible to the naked eye. It quietly lies below the skin, incognito, and waits for the right conditions to form, for the eventual attack. It is a hair follicle, enlarged and plugged with fellow travelers dead skin cells, oil and bacteria! When it becomes the inflamed lesion, it is ACNE!
Is there a cure for the acne? If you are willing to accept the straight answer, there is no clear cut remedy for acne. "Prevention is better than cure," The rule applies very well to acne. But acne can be treated, if not cured altogether. That is not to say that the acne conditions will remain for ever. I only say that acne can not be thrown out. It will go when it has to go. On many occasions of its own volition!
The story of proactive products is just a decade old. The products have created a deep impact on the acne suffering people. The great men, who created Proactive acne solutions, were no ordinary people. They were two experienced dermatologists, who wished to invent a panacea to the acne problem. After much experimenting, they formulated the process of treatment, which brought much relief to the acne suffering masses. As on date, the popularity of the Proactive products is astronomical.
The Proactive principle is attack is the best form of defense. To prevent and heal acne, the Proactive, use a combination of ingredients that work simultaneously. These ingredients do the cleaning job, on all fronts. They exfoliate skin, deal with acne causing bacteria, treat to soothe inflammation and unplug pores. Their victory ladder consists of three steps.
First, comes the cleanser. In this step benzoyl peroxide is made to penetrate, within the skin as ingredients help to unplug pores and exfoliate skin. Next, Proactive revitalizing toner is ready to take over to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells. Now comes the repairing lotion that helps benzoyl peroxide to seep deep in to the skin pores and initiative a decisive battle against the acne causing bacteria.
There is a fond hope among all concerned about acne, that the Proactive approach to treat acne, will go down in the history as one of the best approaches to the subject. Fortunately or unfortunately, that happens with many products and situations. Today's Captain finds it difficult to get a place in the team after the lapse of some years! If a better product takes over the Proactive combination...well and good. Until such time, let the kind king of acne medicines rule!
