Your Brain, Your Mind And Your Beliefs

Hi there. Stop what you are doing right now and take a look at this interesting riddle:
"I have billions of eyes yet I live in darkness. I have millions of ears yet only four lobes. I have no muscle yet I rule two hemispheres. What am I?"
If you haven't figure out the answer to this no-brainer (please forgive the pun) riddle yet, it's actually quite simple. It's your brain.
Your brain has billions of optic and auditory nerves, four lobes and two hemispheres. Well, it is made up of muscle but the muscle mentioned in the riddle above has to do with strength and not muscle tissue.
The brain is the central nervous system that drives your body to function properly by sending signals to your other organs and body parts. It is by far the most advance "computer system" and is more powerful and useful than any supercomputer known to man.
It is this very advanced "computer system" at work when you are cruising along the long highway, recalling and visualizing your intended path to take while manipulating your steering wheel, depressing the clutch pedal and shifting the gears almost simultaneously and instanteneously. It is also at work when you suddenly cut yourself and almost immediately feel the excruciating pain as the warm, red blood oozes out of your finger.
Now, that is some very enlightening and useful information but exactly how is your brain related to your mind? The brain is simply the physical matter that resides within the skull that performs the functions mentioned above. The mind, on the other hand, contains mental attributes such as your memory, thoughts, desires and beliefs.
Your mind enables you to store, retrieve, encode and decode tons of information, knowledge, statistics, facts, figures, faces, et cetera. It is responsible for you being able to instantly recognise your family and friends and recall their names, birthdates, likes/dislikes among millions of other functions.
And your beliefs are the perceptions you create about yourself, the people in your environment and how you expect things to run and work. In addition, beliefs are basically a set of rules that govern the way you think and act.
In fact, if your brain can be likened to a supercomputer, and your mind to its operating system, then the very source code that make up your system will be your beliefs.
Your brain, mind and beliefs constantly work closely hand in hand together to help you in the best possible way. However, due to your negative subconscious programming, you are constantly hindered from your path to success.
Although most people do not know how to break their conditioned mental and behavioral patterns let alone the fact that they actually can do so, it is absolutely possible to both learn and unlearn new patterns no matter how old (or young) you are, or how long you've been stuck in a detrimental and unhelpful mental, physical or emotional state throughout your life.
So how then do you reprogram your supercomputer and begin controlling your mind to attract wealth, success and happiness into your life?

How can I get back the social skills I once had?
By: Johan B | 04-08-2008
My name is Johan and I'm 18 years old, graduated from high school this year and I'm having problems lately when I try to engage in conversations with girls and my friends ,which I barely have anymore.I usually don't have anything to say (My mind is always blank and I can't make up words properly in my head) so I'm either very quiet or say stuff without any meaning. It wasn't always like this. Before I graduated and spent the last five months doing nothing else than waking up, having some friends over and lighting up a few joints... I always knew what to say back to people when I talked to them.I think my problem is the lack of mental exercise. Since I go to the gym 2 hours a day, 4 days a week I have a healthy body or else I'd already be overweight (Damn munchies). Maybe taking some yoga, photography and math classes would help me improve my social skills which really suck at the moment and I don't see any point in living anymore... I've basically lost my interest in everything.I need advice on how to get my social skills back and on getting my life back in order.Thanks,Johan.

Would you invest $25 to improve your golf swing and overall score up to 10% or more?
By: Charles McKensey | 21-07-2008
I have taken a time tested method of subliminal meditation therapy and applied it specifically to the mechanics of of a textbook golf swing. Subliminal auditory messages are overlaid against a soothing audio of rolling ocean waves. Two independant studies were performed in a double blind study to obtain comparative results, and this 'digitally enhanced product' showed remarkable improvement in swing mechanics and overall scores with the test subjects studied. So good in fact, the I have decided to market this and other auditory subliminal hypno-meditation products. Look for Mental Groove Products and its introductory flagship subliminal auditory Hypnosis... MIND PAR coming soon. I can guarantee results and my question is ...would this be a product that you would consider purchasing at $24.95 plus S&H if results were guaranteed and your golf swing and overal score improved up to 10%? Please email me at csmckensey@aol.com for additional informaion, questions, comments and suggestions. Marketing affiliates welcome.
