No matter where life takes us, we all need to be positively motivated in order to succeed. This is particularly true when things are not quite going our way and when we have undertaken business projects that do not seem to work out as we would have expected. It is at this point that fear can move stealthily into our way of thinking and a little irritating voice says that this is not going to work.

So, what can be done? Well, for the most part, it is important that you steer clear of negative people. These people can, at times, be your own flesh and blood. However, this is not the time to disclose any doubts and fears that you may have in them. Positive and enthusiastic people should be sought out from your acquaintances, family and friends. Assume the positive and confident outlooks on life that they have. Locate a good motivational book. Return and re-tackle the issues that are holding your scheme back, whilst you are thinking about success. It is very often a case of needing to tweak certain aspects of the operation in order to get it moving.

If research has been undertaken by yourself correctly, then there must be a reason as to why things are not going so well. Determination will pay in the long run. If you are yearning to succeed, this will without a doubt provide the inspiration and energy that is required to get you off on the right foot and where you need to go. This is personal motivation in action. Positive results will be achieved when your energy and desire work together.

When things are not going your way, it is easy for you to become down and depressed. It is simple to just give up and give in to fear and misery. However, it is this approach that leads you to less success. Depression and loss of motivation can be increased when communicating with unenthusiastic people. In a sense, we are in actual fact what we deem ourselves to be, and we need to motivate ourselves in order to achieve.

In one way, it is more difficult to remain positive since is requires a great deal of energy. However, on the other hand, being negative takes your energy away, whilst being positive will produce energy. Motivation is produced when we remain positive, and results are produced from enthusiastic motivation. Nothing is a lost cause. It is just necessary to undertake thoughtful restructuring in the worst cases, or minor tweaking at best. All that is required to carry this out is the motivation and enthusiasm.

Life can be difficult. However it is imperative that you search for the positives in everything, including situations that prove to be difficult. It is important that you enjoy life and mix with positive, energetic people. It is simple for their enthusiasm and motivation to break through the shell of depression that is blocking up your life. Goals need to be developed, followed by you gaining the amount of motivation needed to drive in your life.

Help!!! my roommate is makin me mad!!
By: jimi16 | 27-06-2008
My roommate, whom i lived with for almost a year, moving from place to place, just left me a note yesterday. Telling me that she was only going to pay $165 for rent. She left a check in the landlords name and went home for the weekend for her sisters garduation. Her cell was left at a friends house so there is no way to contact her. We both have always split everything in half, no contract between us was needed. Her reasoning behind this is because i have a girlfiend that i have over everynight to be with me. I have dated my girlfriend for almost a year, same amount of time that ive lived with my roommate. She has always came over every night to be with me and its never been an issue. My girlfiend is never at our apartment when i am not there, and when she is there she is with me, and we are always in my bedroom. Never in my roommates way. We never use her things, or eat her food.... Like i said, we just hang out in my room when i am home, watch movies, go to bed then go to work. But my roommates has a tv of mine in her bedroom, uses one of my dvd players, and me and my g/f both moved my roommates stuff when we moved twice, and my roommate wasnt even around to help with her stuff. I dont ask much from her. The last apartment we lived at, we had to move in with one of my roommates co workers cuz we got screwed over with our roommate at that time. So me, a 21 yr old guy had to live with two girls. Wasnt so cool. It was only a two bedroom and both girls got the bedrooms, leaving me with the dining room with no doors. I didnt ask to pay less in rent, or made a fuss about it. The only problem i had was them coming home late from a bar being so loud and not respecting my privacy and the fact that i didnt have a door. Now in this new apartment we are in now, she is requesting i pay more in rent cuz i have my girlfriend over!!!!...My girlfriend plans on moving in when my roommate moves out, which was supposed to be in august, giving me and my g/f enough time to pay off her student loans. So in my belief im entitled to having a guest over. In the note she wrote to me, she was saying how everything financial wise seems easier for me and my g/f. She is assuming, i think, that my g/f and i split my half of the bills between me and my roommate. Which isnt true. What should i do? I already contacted the landlord and he has to give her 30 days but i want her out now. Im thinking about just giving her $165 back and tell her she has a week to move out, or take the $165 and have the landlord give her a 30 day eviction notice, but i really want her out now, she is very incpnsiderate, for example two weeks ago she had 5 of her girlie friends over and they were being very loud. I came out of my room and asked them to keep it down cuz i was sleeping and had to work the follwing a.M. Then the same night at 3am her friends and her were back and being even louder and fighting with a bouncer from the bar they were at. Long story short, she stole a purse from a girl she got into a fight with, cops came to the apartment keeping me and my g/f up till 5am, looking for this purse, arrested my roommate and her friends. She is just a very inconsiderate person and i want her out asap. So doesnt the landlord. He wanted her out after the cop incident but she refused to call him like i told her too. What do you think the best way is to go about this situaton?
