Uab Blazers College Football Tickets And Seating Chart

It's that time again, UTEP Game Week. Head coach Neil Callaway was on hand to speak with the media on Monday at the weekly press conference. There's excitement in the air about the upcoming game at UTEP and for good reason, even though the UAB Blazers lost at Marshall 27-7 in the game on Saturday. If you look at the 2009 game results, you might not necessarily agree that that has been a good year for the Blazers. But coaches, players and fans are standing behind their team in spite of the losses the Blazers have racked up thus far.

Some say that there's a lack of focus but whatever the case may be, the results speak for themselves. The Blazers opened the season with a win against Rice 44-24 but then went on a losing streak to SMU 35-33, Troy, 27-14 and Texas A&M 56-19; the latter of which came as no surprise to many. The Blazers broke up the losing run with a win over Southern Miss 30-17 but then loss to Ole Miss 48-13 and Saturday's game against Marshall. With persistence and dedication, fans are hoping to see the Blazers pull themselves up to their former glory and bring home as man wins as possible.

Diehards will be on hand to cheer on their Blazers as the balance of the season's games roll out for 2009. Starting on Saturday, October 31, there's the big UTEP game in El Paso. Florida Atlantic will welcome the Blazers to Legion Field on November 7. November 14 the Blazers will tangle with Memphis in Memphis. East Carolina welcomes the Blazers to Greenville on November 21. UCF hosts the Blazers on November 28th and the USA Championship will be held December 5. There are some great opportunities ahead that players can turn into rewarding wins with any luck and hard work.

Legion Field is located at 400 Graymont Avenue West in Birmingham, Alabama and is the home field of the Blazers. Current capacity is 80,601 with local street parking and facility lot parking available. Legion Field is easily accessible from Gadsen on I-59, Huntsville/Montgomery on I-65, Tuscaloosa/Atlanta on I-20 and Memphis from US Hwy 78. The west upper decks are the location for box level and press box level seating, which includes 15 luxurious skyboxes. There is a specially designated area for wheelchair seating that provides fans with special needs excellent sites of all the action from the south end of the field.

Those who want up close seating have a variety of options that are just as close to the action as the wheelchair seating with choices from Rows 1-70 in Sections 5-15 on the west and Rows 1-70 in Section 31-41 on the east. There is no seating on the north side of the stadium. Skyboxes 1-7 are situated to the south on the west upper decks and are a great way to enjoy all of the action of the game without experiencing the outdoor elements and to take advantage of the amenities available. Skyboxes 8-15 are just beyond the press box to the north on the same level and are just as nice.

All entrances to Legion Field are located at the field level, offering a breathtaking view when you first walk into the area and take in all the expanse of the field and stands to the east and west. There is also a walkway between rows 31 and 32. If you're looking to get into the action of a football game at Legion Field, there are many great seating options, with no two quite the same. The key is to make your choices early to ensure you've got that perfect seat secured.
