5 Ways to Boost Your Affiliate Marketing List

Building a list is the most fundamental thing any internet marketer must do. In fact, all internet marketers should spend 70% of their time building their list and 30% on other stuff. If you do not have a list, you can never get a chance to promote to people any of your back end products.

However, building a list can be an expensive thing to do depending on the methods you are using. In this article, i will be sharing with you 1 paid method and 4 other free methods that i am using.

1) Ezine Ads : This is the only paid method i am using at the moment. This is a method of leveraging other people's list by placing an ads with the ezine owner and they will send it out to their subscribers. The good thing about this method is that you are using the credibility of the ezine owner to promote your products. If you can find an ezine that has a good response rate, you should try to advertise there every few months to build your list. Sometime, you should not expect very good response from just an ad you place with that ezine. I usually place a series of 3 ads at different interval so that the subscribers will be more familiar with me and eventually opt-in to my list.

2) Article Marketing : This is the free method i am talking about but what i meant by free is that you do not have to put in money for this method. However you have to put in time and effort to write your articles and submit to the various article directories in the market. It took me around two to three hours every day to complete writing and submitting 4 to 6 articles. Despite the time and effort, this method is one of my favorite method as it provides me with a long term list building strategy.

3) Forum : This method is also one that consumes your time instead of money. But it is also one of the methods that can help you build trust among people in this business. If you do it right, you can get to know a lot of people who you can do joint venture with and get help from.

4) Joint Venture : This is also another way of leveraging other people's list. The main difference is that it can be done free and effortlessly. All you have to do is to contact a number of people who are in the same niche as you to promote your products to their lists in return for something from you. It can be in the form of cross promoting meaning you promote their products to your lists and they promote yours to their list. There is various method of joint venture and the methods to use depends on what you want to trade with them.

5) Traffic Exchange : This method of list building can be done either by putting in money or time. You have the option to either pay for credit to place your ads in the program or you can surf for credit depending on your choice.

These five methods account for 100% of all my list building and they are great methods anyone can use. Spend some time trying out each method and see if it suits your needs.
