Affiliate marketing and squeeze page go hand in hand. Many people have successful affiliate marketing business by just having a squeeze page as their main website. The main reason it works is because the squeeze page will enable the marketer to collect the visitors' details so that the market can follow up with them through the email. To get better results from your business, you will want o track the different conversions so that you will know the performance of your business.

3 Different Kinds Of Conversion You Need To Track

1) Opt In Conversion

The 1st thing you will want to track is your squeeze page opt in conversion. You will want to know the number of peoples who join your list for every 100 unique people that come to your website. Since you will be putting a lot of your time and effort into driving more people to your website, you will want to make sure more people will join your list.

When you know your opt in rate, you will be able to do more changes to your website like changing the headline, changing the placement of the opt in form, changing of benefit list and others so that you can improve your opt in rate. When you are just starting out, you should aim for at least 20% opt in rate. Even when you reach the 20% opt in rate, you should strive to continuously tweak it till you get much higher conversion rate.


2) Sales Conversion

The next important conversion you need to know is your sales conversion. When you have drive 100 unique visitors to your affiliate link, you will want to know the number of people who purchase the product. The average sales conversion of any product is at least 1%. If you did not get any sales after driving 300 unique visitors to your affiliate link, you might consider promoting another product which might have better sales letter.

You will need to make sure that you have constant stream of traffic to your website so that you will be able to track sales conversion easily. Do test by promoting different products and focus your effort on promoting the product which gives you the best sales conversion.

3) Click Through Rate In Email

When you have built your own list of subscribers, you will be sending emails to them regularly to communicate with them. The main objective of your email marketing is to get your readers to click on the link in your email. You will want to know the number of people who will click on your link in the email out of the number of people in your list. You will need to do some testing so that you will be able to know the style of email you need to write to get the best response from your list.
