Today many online marketers are flocking towards affiliate programs as a way to make money online without owning a product. Few too many people know that sometimes more money can be made with another type of affiliate marketing which is network marketing. We will look at some of the benefits of a network marketing affiliate program over a regular affiliate program so you can decide which one best suits your needs.
With regular affiliate marketing you basically join a program for free and have the ability to sell a product that is not yours and make a nice commission off it. This is great and can make you a lot of money if you know what your doing but your income eventually gets to a limit because the product is either not in demand anymore or you sales start to drop because of other competitors. Many of today's affiliate programs pay you on sales only, so if your sales stop or slow down you don't get paid or make less money.
Network marketing affiliate programs work similar to affiliate programs but usually have more compensation for their affiliates because your average affiliate program will only pay you for your sales that you make personally or sometimes you might find a two-tier program where you can recruit sub-affiliates under you and make a small percentage of their sale as well, but after that your in the dark and need to keep on promoting to get another check.
With a network marketing affiliate program your income is more residual because you have an infinite line of affiliates under you that have the potential to make you money month after month for their work and sales. As long as you keep focusing on recruiting more people and affiliates your checks will never stop. If you wanted to create endless streams of income with affiliate marketing you have to constantly promote new products and run multiple campaigns at once sometimes in the hundreds just to stay on top of your game.
Most affiliate programs limit you to only a few products, but with some network marketing affiliate programs you have a wide variety of products and services to choose from to make residual income with. Many people who join these programs will go on to be customers for years and buy from you and you will make money everytime they purchase a product. Most affiliate programs are for niche products with a short lifespan and if you don't get in early you won't make real money. A good network marketing company will have lots of high demand products that people will want to buy year after year know matter what.
If you are considering affiliate marketing than a network marketing affiliate program might be something you want to consider to expand your streams of income. In the long run you will make more money and it will be residual. It is much better to do it once and get paid forever than to just get paid once and have to repeat the steps to do it again. Many successful network marketers are enjoying extreme wealth off of simply building huge affiliate teams that generate massive residual income day after day.
