Can You Become Affiliate without College Degree?

You don't have a college degree and wonder if you can survive working online. Is it possible to become an affiliate without higher education? What are the requirements to enter the internet marketing? Can you become successful without masters in business marketing?!

I personally don't think that a college degree plays a major role in affiliate marketing. Not many people realize it, but you can actually be a drop out and make more money than any most qualified attorney, programmer or even a doctor.

It is important to understand that even if you are not enrolled into a socially acceptable formal higher-education facility, you can still be learning and, most importantly, practicing right away.

In most cases, university graduates have absolutely no idea how to implement their knowledge obtained within 3-4 years of hardcore theoretical schooling. It takes years of practice before any of them become professionals.

Learning yourself gives you an opportunity to give things a try, learn from the mistakes and enquire the knowledge along side with the actual practice. The only problem is the lack of an actual certification of your professional qualifications. However, who needs those when you are your own boss!? 

Forex affiliate marketing, or any marketing in that sense, is all about working hard and never give up. The continuous affiliate challenges, goals and results depend entirely up to you and are in fact the key to unchain your true potential!

I am personally a computer science graduate and, honestly, I do use my programming knowledge from time to time. However, it is rarely related to the actual affiliate marketing! Of course, I might have a clearer understanding of Joomla, HTML coding, CSS sheets and what not, however anyone without a degree in computers who learns and tries it year after year can actually be much better than me!

What if you have a degree in English or any other language? How can this help? Writing articles can be tricky if you don't possess certain skills, however today you can either outsource it, or learn the art of persuasion from any online free ebooks, websites or forums!

Some of the most successful affiliates I know did not complete college. If you are still not convinced that the lack of degree will not ruin your affiliate potential, look at all those teenagers that are making money online!  In the affiliate world, it doesn't matter whether you have a certificate hanging on the wall of your study or not. You can learn more in couple of months about affiliate marketing, then in years of going to class room and making homework assignments.

I have a friend who recently finished a degree in computer science. Her final project was based on building a joomla-based website for the college with picture gallery, member registration and a forum. It was difficult, but she managed and got an A for it. Do you really need a degree of it? No! Tones of affiliates can turn this project into an A+, by actually making money from it!!

What I am trying to say is that this article should not be used to make a decision whether to go to college or not! There are many positive aspects in higher education and the shiny piece of paper (aka degree) will definitely play its dues throughout your life. 

Affiliate marketing aside, imagine the end of the cyber world (well, help me out here and try being as creative as possible!). The degree might come in handy then, right?!

I do not regret studying programming – it was one of the kind, exciting and adventurous experience not only educationally, but also socially.  The only thing I might have done differently, if I had a change to do it all over again, is choosing the more specific degree – like internet marketing, for example.

In other words, if you don't have a degree and aren't on the verge of a major decision-making regarding your educational future – don't let it stop you from entering internet marketing with your head up high!
