There are two kinds of tasks for which affiliate get money from merchant. One is for publicity or just creating impressions. In that case the task is more like advertising. There is a fixed amount for one impression. Total impressions made by affiliate to users are multiplied by the fixed amount and that money is paid to the affiliate.
In the second kind of task, the affiliate is paid for generating leads. The user in this case has to order something or buy something and only then the affiliate gets paid.
To earn money with affiliate is a sound investment. Affiliates give the fastest returns and more or less for everything that a merchant pays. Increased sales and greater visibility further promotes the business as more people get to know about what the merchant is offering. It happens as the audience, which is not targeted, also gets to know about the merchant’s business.
