Unfortunately, 95 percent of all affiliates make little or no money. That being the case, how do you break into that top 5% and reach the super affiliate status? The top earning affiliates did not get there by luck. There are several common factors among successful super affiliates:
1. They work hard at it. They commit the time necessary to be successful.
2. They treat it like a business. Why? Because it is a business! Many people treat their online business as though it were a hobby. Successful affiliates develop a business plan and then work the plan.
3. They do research. They research the niches that are most successful and exploit those money-making niches.
4. They research products. After finding a profitable niche, they locate the best products within that niche. They take care to recommend products that represent good value. They learn about their affiliate products. Most of them will try the product themselves before recommending it to others.
5. They market their products tirelessly. They use a number of diversified marketing methods. They write articles, use social bookmarking sites, PPC, forums, email, joint ventures, and their own lists among other things.
6. They buy domain names to either pre-sell or redirect visitors to the merchant’s sales page.
7. They make extensive use of an autoresponder and email campaigns.
Of course, this is not an all-inclusive list. Every super affiliate has his or her own techniques that they specialize in. By employing the 7 steps above, you can become more successful than 95% of all affiliates and enter the ranks of the super affiliates.
