I Never Really Realized Our Opportunity Is Not The Only One...

"I learned a thing or two about some new great products, too." That's from Connelly after he buddied up with someone from another company to do calls to prospects.

Cindi reports on her experience:

"I (Infinity2) teamed up with a Melaleuca rep (Pat) and it was fun. She and I have different angles, asked for different people and it didn't feel like we were competing for the small tiny little pie. It's good to work with people you don't have a financial stake in success with. To just be friends and helpers was wonderful."

From just working together across companies, we go further…

"Buying from other Network Marketers wasn't an option that I considered in the past," emailed Larry.

This is all music to my ears. People from different companies helping one another and buying from each other with no fear. What could be better?

Yes, we all know that every networker believes their products are it. And that their company is it.

But working together has shown that you can keep that belief, while at the same time dumping the old school "Mine's better than yours and you should do mine."

Gandhi said this very thing about the religious groups that were warring with each other during his lifetime. Describing the beliefs of his own religious community, he wrote:

"The ashram believes that the principal faiths of the world constitute a revelation of Truth, but as they have all been outlined by imperfect man, they have been affected by imperfections and alloyed with untruth. One must therefore entertain the same respect for the religious faiths of others as one accords to one's own.

Where such tolerance becomes a law of life, conflict between different faiths becomes impossible, and so does all effort to convert other people to one's own faith.

One can only pray that the defects in the various faiths may be overcome, and that they may advance side by side, towards perfection." Gandhi, Vows and Observances.
