Hi everyone. I think BANS is a GREAT idea!! Although I did not buy the software to build my sites, I did get a lot of inspiration from their idea. And yes, eBay is one of my best converting affiliate programs. What I would suggest doing instead of paying all that money for this script is to use Joomla which is a FREE open source software/script that is installed easily on most website hosting accounts through your Cpanel using Fantastico. I have used it for several eBay niche stores/sites and it works GREAT!!!! And the best part is it is free.
Basically how it works is you have to add your RSS fees as news feeds. Create the category first, then create the newsfeed. After you have all of the feeds in place, you just create a New MENU Button that is a direct Link to a Newsfeed. And wala! There you go. Simple and easy. Nothing to it. Just find a nice looking FREE template for your Joomla Ebay niche store and you will be very happy with the results.
In order to participate in the eBay affiliate program and to create a Niche store, you will first sign up as an affiliate with the Ebay Partner Network at www.ebaypartnernetwork.com . After you are approved, then you can participate in the eBay affiliate program. Sometimes it can take awhile for eBay to approve you, but don't get discouraged. Just keep watching to see if you've been approved and if for some reason your application gets rejected, reapply.
Most of you probably know that fresh content is king with the search engines and with fresh RSS feeds from eBay being updated constantly on your site, you will be sure to rank good with Google, Yahoo & MSN. It has worked very well for me. Just the live feeds alone gets me probably 200 to 300 unique visitors over several of my sites every month. I do nothing to maintain them and the clicks I get have decent conversion rates because people usually find what they are looking for.

I've been using Dreamweaver for years, but am now being told that HTML and static sites are on their way out, and that I must learn Joomla! Unfortunately the videos bought on-line assume too much, there are no courses in any college within fifty miles, and neither the bookshops nor library have any books. Am I asking for the moon, or is there a book that will take a sixty-something gently through Content Management systems?
