Why do you need to market your site aggressively? Because, it doesn’t matter how good your product is or even your sales letter is very convincing, if you don’t tell about your site to anybody you won’t make money at all.
There are lots of marketing methods developed by many internet marketers today. The most powerful and effective method of all is called viral marketing. Viral means virus. It acts like a virus that can spread itself and tell the world about your business. Use it with the wrong way and it could also kill your business.
Sometimes people mention viral marketing as viral advertising. It is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness about your product. The idea is to use advertising and make every person who sees it hooked and amused to pass it to their friends. You can create a cool flash game, funny video, nice story, or amusing presentation. Put your website so when people pass it to their friends, they will also help to promote your website.
Using viral marketing, you will save a lot of cost. They are relatively low cost and almost no cost at all if you’re creative. Viral marketing won’t be tagged as spam mail because the advertising is passed by their friends. If a person sees the promotion from a person that they know, then they won’t block it and open it as well.
Using viral marketing, your site will get a lot of publicity and will generate a flow of traffic from potential customers. Put your opt-in page and gather all the email address from them. Offer them an affiliate product and you will generate a lot of money. This method is more powerful than SEO and also faster.
Viral marketing could be the best form of low cost advertising and all it takes is only a great idea to make people pass it on.
