“The money is in the list”, how many times have you heard this? People keep on telling you that if you want to really make money online, then you will have to build your own list. Why? Why is it that list building is so powerful that every internet marketing gurus are talking about it and actually practice it?
There must be some reasons for it. What I can say is this; list building has been proven to be the most effective way in promoting your products. If you are not building a list, you are not building an online business. To really make money online, you will have to build your own list, start from today.
You should know that not everyone who visits your website is going to buy from you. In fact, almost all of them will not buy from you the first time. People are skeptical about spending money, especially in buying things online. This is where a list comes in. Instead of selling people directly from your website, you use a list to capture their emails and other contact information.
The next thing you should do after capturing your visitors’ emails is that you can start promoting your products to them through emails. This is the power of a list. Most of your sales will come from the emails that you are going to send to them, not from your website. If you are not building a list today, you are leaving a lot of free money on the table. I will strongly recommend those who are serious to build their own list, start from now.
To really make money online, you have to be committed with your online business. Think about it, if you have 5,000 subscribers in your list, and if the conversion rate is 1%, you are going to make 50 sales on each email that you send. What if the list is huge, say with 10,000 subscribers? Can you see the leveraging power now?
Of course, it is often easier said than done. People will not buy from every of your emails, and your conversion rate will not be as high as that. However, you can improve your conversion rate. If you want to really make money online, then you will go for the long-term benefits than the short-term. Build a list, and educate your subscribers. What they want from you is your information which they think can help them solve their problems. That is why they subscribed into your list in the first place.
Therefore, constantly providing and creating value for your list. You will be amazing of how responsive the list will be, and how they are going to treat you as the ‘pro’ in your market. This is the true strategy of making money online. I hope you can see the big picture now.
To really make money online, you will have to build a list. Having a list simply means that you are slowly conquering that particular market. Remember, if you are not building a list, you are not really making money online.
